Healthy cookies. Sounds like an oxymoron, right?
Sweets are my biggest weakness, and I will definitely try to eat my calorie intake in just cookies/donuts/cupcakes. This is one of many favorites for a healthy alternative.
This recipe is delicious and so healthy, guilt-free!
2 Ripe Bananas
1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon
1 1/2 Cup Quick or Old Fashioned Oats (I used Old Fashioned.)
1/4 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips (any substitute!)
1 scoop of whey protein powder
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Mix together the mashed bananas, protein powder, and cinnamon. Add in the oats, dark chocolate chips; stir until well combined.
Spoon a rounded 2 tbsp. of the cookie mixture onto the lined baking sheet, leaving an inch or two between each and flatten slightly. Bake for 20-30 minutes and allow to cool slightly.
